Betsy Horrigan Rathz

Betsy Horrigan Rathz joined the Board of Friends of Kenyan Orphans in 2011, and currently serves as Board Secretary.

Betsy has spent her 35-year professional career in the securities and investment industry. She founded Horrigan Resources, Ltd. (“HRL”) in 1998 after a long career with IDS American Express and CoreStates Securities Corp. (now a unit of Wells Fargo). Pittsburgh-based HRL delivers consulting and related compliance services to investment advisers, hedge funds, and private fund clients located across the U.S.

Betsy holds a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Betsy is a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals and the Greater Pittsburgh Compliance Roundtable.
