Father Gaciata and Bud with Shalom School texts

Friends of Kenyan Orphans has partnered with Melamango, an Italian organization, to assist Father Gachiata's Shalom School for orphaned and abandoned children. Melamango had built Shalom School and FOKO has provided some of the furnishings.

Recently Bud and Sue visited Father to see the facility but also to hear many stories from Father about the children he is assisting. His primary school scored 1st in the KCPE examination in his district, a big source of pride. A newer development is many handicapped children have been incorporated into Shalom. Father says" It is no trouble assisting these children.
