RADICAL RED (beans!!!)

Red beans is a staple food for the children at St. Clare. High in protein, red beans grow well on St. Clare's farm. At harvest time, the girls pick the beans and then assemble them in a pile. From there, they use the traditional method to separate the beans from the pods. Long before there was John Deere, there were Kenyan women with sticks.
