PURITY SHARES
This fall, Purity, a 2013 graduate of St. Clare Centre for Girls, and a senior of Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan addressed a gathering of women from St. Joseph parish in Adrian. They had asked if Purity would talk about her life at St. Clare. Purity spoke of her early education in a government school. The administrator there knew Father Riwa and encouraged Purity to go to St. Clare. She arrived there at age 10 and received her education while living there, graduating in 2013. Purity expressed great gratitude to St. Clare Centre for her education, her teachers and for providing her with a home. Because of the excellent education she received there she was able to pass her KCSE (Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education) at a high level. She, along with another of her classmates, received scholarships to attend post secondary education in the U.S. As a senior at Siena Heights, Purity is looking forward to her future and her return to Kenya.
