Two weeks before your birthday, you might see a message from Facebook in your News Feed giving you the option to create a fundraiser for your birthday.

Creating a birthday fundraiser on Facebook is relatively simple : You choose Friends of Kenyan Orphans from the drop-down list of charities, set your goal amount, choose an end date, write a short story to why you’re raising money - then give your fundraiser a title. Click “create” and your friends will get a notification letting them know you’re raising for this important cause.

Facebook does not collect any fees, so 100% of each donation will go to FOKO.
