FATHER STEVE! SAVING CHILDREN

Father Steve is a young Kenyan priest with a parish in a Muslim area. He lives in the desert area where he thrives while others can't seem to do the same. Important to him are the children in the area whom he takes in. They are the collateral damage of the tribal wars, and/or overwatering the grazing area. FOKO has assisted Father Steve building an underground water system, a classroom and a kitchen for his students. Father Steve seems to thrive and excel in a desert area where most can't exist.
