At the spring honors convocation at Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI, Purity, a member of St. Clare’s first graduation class (2013) received the Undergraduate Outstanding Honor Award for 2017-2018. She was also awarded the Outstanding Award for Business and Management and was inducted into Kappa Gamma Pi, the National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society. Purity says, “It totally felt like it was my day today and I am so thankful to everyone who believed in me and supported me throughout the years.” Kudos Purity for a great job.
Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, Mercy, a second member of St. Clare’s first graduating class (2013) was also being honored by Chestnut Hill College. Mercy received Departmental Honors for successfully completing her honors thesis as well as recognition for the numerous honor societies where she continues her membership. Mercy was awarded the President’s Leadership Award and the Dorothea E. Fenton ’28 Memorial Award. This was in recognition of service and leadership in keeping with the high ideas of a Catholic education. And kudos to Mercy also for a great job.
