BOARD AT WORK
Friends of Kenyan Orphans continues to be hard at work. In early November, the FOKO Board met in Grosse Pointe for their annual board retreat. Part of the meeting focused on organizational business including the election of Sue Montgomery, chairperson, Rich Horrigan, treasurer and Betsy Rathz, secretary.
In addition, Michael Montgomery, a sales trainer, spent time with the board exploring ways of working with both current and future donors as FOKO is always seeking new people to join in the mission of saving and caring for young orphaned and abandoned women. It was a busy but worthwhile two days.
